Surface selection
Create
Surfaces are the input to generate surface shaped and/or contour shaped process geometry.
On the selected surface the Pie menu has to be called to create the process geometry.
With the Pie menu the selected surface shows its possible solutions. This can be the surface itself or its boundaries. Outer boundaries are colored in white, inner boundaries in yellow.
The indicated boundary always refers to the select surface. If the workpiece contains multiple domains of surfaces, the indication and with that the result might be different then expected.
Edit
To edit existing process geometry the Pie menu has to be opened on that PG that is going to be modified. On a surface process geometry it opens the Pie:
Normal direction
On the normal direction vector that is displayed a Pie menu can be called.
Reference surface area
To extend the contour process geometry outside the reference surface boundaries, this reference area can be modified. The Pie menu on the reference surface has to be called.
