Create an adapter

Mechanical adapters need a reference to be defined. This can be the root frame or any other frame. Electrical adapters can be defined without a reference. But in all cases the Manipulator is required. It can be called and positioned according the intended design position and orientation and then call the Pie menu.

• Reset the Manipulator
• Pick the Manipulator position
• 3D Clipping
• Create an electrical socket adapter
• Create an electrical plug adapter
• Create a mechanical socket adapter
• Create a mechanical plug adapter

After selecting the required type the adapter has been created at the Manipulator’s position, like in the example below.
