Simulation start state

A simulation start state is an image of a state of the layout. It knows the position of a resource, or multiple resources, from where the simulation will be computed and its visualization is started. This position can be anywhere in the layout and is not to be confused with the home positions of the resource. The start state stores the position and connections of all resources, controllers and workpieces in the layout, so that it can be re-used to switch to these defined states at any time.

The initial start state is generated automatically when computing the first program for that layout. More Simulation start states can be defined with the 3D View Pie menu in the Interactive simulation mode and are managed in the Simulation Player settings.
