Commands on a plate fixture

The fixture consist of a base plate and several support plates, enhanced with additional features such as mounting holes or engraved text. On these plates or features the following functions become available in the Fixture Builder workbench..

Base plate

• Reset the Manipulator
• Add a fixing hole
• Remove the fixture
• Engrave a text
• Move the base plate
• Resize the base plate

Support plate

• Reset the Manipulator
• Split the support plate
• Add a hole
• Remove the support plate
• Engrave a text
• Move the support plate
• Resize the support plate
• Flip support flange at side

Tower

• Reset the Manipulator
• Modify the tower
• Add a hole
• Copy the tower
• Remove the tower
• Move the tower

Mounting hole

• Activate the Manipulator
• Remove the hole
• Move the hole
• Change the hole diameter

Engraved text

• Reset the Manipulator
• Move the engraved text
• Remove the engraved text
• Edit the text

Support plate crossing

• Activate the Manipulator
• Change the support plate crossing type
• Edit the crossing dimensions

On manipulator center

• Reset the Manipulator
• Pick the Manipulator position
• Add a support plate with given length
• Remove the fixture
• Create (inactive)
• Update the fixture
• Add a tower

On manipulator X- or Y-axis

• Reset the Manipulator
• Add a support plate with given length
• Split the base plate
• Mirror the selected support plates

Drag and Snap operation mode

• Activate the manipulator
• Open the layer manager
• Toggle the Show/Hide
• Change the Operation mode
• Add existing components to the project
