Utilities

The Utilities command does not execute a direct function when it is started. It enables some additional functionality to support building the fixture.

The Utilities include:

To extend the workpiece geometry in such a way to improve the contact face of the support plates with the workpiece. The command can be executed after selecting an edge on the workpiece.

To easily assemble additional equipment to complete the fixture, like mounting a clamp on a tower, a (receiving) adapter can be added to the fixture. After the manipulator has been positioned at the desired location for the adapter, the command can be executed from the pie menu on the manipulator’s center.
