Create a light barrier sensor

With the command Create a light barrier sensor a sensor of this type is defined at the location of the Manipulator. The orientation of the main axis of the sensor is directed at the Manipulator axis from where the command has been started.

In the 3D View the proximity sensor is graphically represented by an object according the image below.
