Transmit an operation
![]()
With the Transmit an operation command an existing operation (toolpath) with its attributes and events becomes a sort of template to be applied onto another process geometry.
When transmitting the operation onto the new process geometry, the attributes and their values are applied, regardless if the programming defaults might have been changed. Events and other toolpath element manipulations are applied onto the new toolpath, where their location is calculated proportionally along the new contour. When the new toolpath has a different number and different positions of toolpath elements, additional elements will be generated to keep events and other manipulations at their (proportional) position.
