Update the plate fixture

With the Update fixture command the complete fixture is recomputed and rebuilt where necessary.

To avoid that certain interactions always and automatically trigger the recomputation, leading to unwanted interruption and waiting time for the user, these modifications need the execution of the Update to take effect. Changing the position and height of the fixture and modifying its properties are examples of actions that require this Update execution.
