Adapter classification
Two adapter classes are available.

| Mechanical | To assemble mechanical components (resources, controllers, workpieces, etc.) to other components or to position them in a layout. | Socket (parent) |  |

Normally the adapter (and frames) are referred to the active joint, at where it is created, or to the root frame. Exceptions to this rule are:
