Create a mechanical adapter

To easily assemble additional equipment to the fixture at their correct position, like mounting a clamp on a tower, it is recommended to use mechanical adapters. With the command Create a mechanical parent adapter this (receiving) adapter can be defined at the desired position on the fixture.

After the manipulator has been positioned at the correct location, executing the command creates the adapter at that position.
