Connect two adapters

The Connect adapter command creates a connection between two adapters. The counterpart adapter has to be selected after the command has been started at an adapter. Obviously only a matching adapter type (plug or socket) can be selected to connect. To make it easier, only the matching types are visualized.

When a mechanical connection is established the child component is attached to the parent component
