Create an adapter or frame

Mechanical adapters and frames need a reference to be defined. This can be the root frame or any preferred joint of the resource. Electrical adapters can be defined without a reference. But in all cases the Manipulator is required and the reference is the active joint or root frame. The Manipulator can be called and positioned according the intended design position and orientation. A reference joint can be set active by hovering the mouse over a joint or its attached geometry and then call the Pie menu.

When a joint or the root frame is set active, the Manipulator is automatically called and positioned at the selected joint or the root frame.

Then calling the Pie menu on the center of the Manipulator enables to create the new adapter or frame.
