Events
Toolpath events
Events are instructions to define certain actions to be applied at a tool path element or tool path region. They can be divided in a set of base instructions and a set of technology specific instructions. The software assigns certain events automatically when a tool path is computed. These events are write-protected. But the user can also set events manually.
Events can be recognized by the gray colored circular symbol that is located near the tool path element.

The events are categorized in three groups, each having its own indicator:
| Technology event | |
| Motion profile event | |
| Position modified event |
Hovering over this event symbol will show a list with event content, like in the example below.

The following base events are available:
| Motion profile | ||
| Speed | Sets the velocity (mm/s) of the tool along the path. | |
| Accuracy | Sets the accuracy (mm) to reach the toolpath element position. | |
| Dwell | Sets a waiting time (s) at the path element for the tool to remain position until moving further. | |
| Acceleration | Sets the acceleration (mm/s2) of the tool. | |
| IO signals | ||
| Wait for signal | Adds a wait for an input signal event of the active controller. | |
| Set signal | Adds a set output signal event of the active controller. | |
| Set resource port | Sets a port of a resource. | |
| Wait for resource port | Waits for a port of a resource. | |
| Adapter actor | Sets a signal of a mechanical parent adapter to create or delete a mechanical connection during simulation. | |
| Technology | ||
| Text | Inserts a comment. |
Other technology events depend on the active technology package.
