License Troubleshooting

If there are problems with the license activation or running the applications with the Wibu license key, please check the following:

  • Check the currently installed version of CodeMeter. FASTSUITE Edition 2 R2022 requires Codemeter version 7.40 or higher, while R2023.2 requires Codemeter version 7.60 or higher. For a server / client installation both the server and the client need to have the required version installed.

  • Verify that the license container is active.

  • Verify that the licenses are not out of date.

  • On the server side, verify that the server is up and running. And that the clients have the permission to access the server.

  • On the client side, verify that the server is reachable.

  • Verify that in the FASTSUITE Edition 2 application the license, i.e. product or configuration has been granted.

  • FASTSUITE Edition 2 might require a higher version of CodeMeter. Check which version your currently installed FASTSUITE Edition 2 application requires.
