Launching Shopfloor Assistant
Once installation is complete, launching Shopfloor Assistant is quick and intuitive. This subchapter walks you through the first-time startup and what to expect.
📘How to start the Shopfloor Assistant
Locate the file named FastCube.Launcher.exe on your desktop or in the installation folder and double-click it to start the application.
- Step 1: Initializes components
A new window will open with a status bar. This indicates that the launcher is initializing all necessary components

Step 2: Components Initialized

Once loading is complete for any components, the status bar will show an “OK” message, confirming that the environment is ready.
- Any errors encountered during the launch will be displayed in the launcher window. The Log File button, located in the bottom-left corner, allows you to open and review detailed logs.
- Step 3: Adjust Environment Variables
The environment variable settings are found in the top-right corner of the lunch window.
Here, you can optionally modify the variables configured during installation to suit your system or workflow. If the values are changed*,* the Launcher needs a restart.
- Step 4: Access the User**-**interface
After all the components are initialized, the installer window will display a button labeled
“Open Shopfloor Assistant”.

Once the browser opens, you’ll see the Shopfloor Assistant user interface.

🎯 Operator insights
- Run as administrator to avoid permission issues.
- If the launcher doesn’t start, check antivirus or firewall settings.
- If the browser doesn’t open the Shopfloor Assistant tab automatically, simply open your browser manually and enter the http://127.0.0.1:50000/ address in the address bar.
- Ensure your environment variables are correctly configured in the launcher.
- The user interface is designed to be intuitive. Each panel is labeled and responsive.
