The left ribbon is used to collect the most used workflow commands, Including the projects explorer, the template manager, the command for creating new plate, and the export panel. The workflow goes top to bottom, every command triggers a new panel or UI function that will require user input to be completed. For every command there is the possibility to cancel the workflow by closing the panel using the X button or clicking on the empty screen. For terminating the New plate command, the user most accept or cancel the new plate position.

Some commands on the left ribbon will only be available under certain conditions, the template command will only be available after a project with workpiece is created and it will not longer be available after a fixture is created. New plate and export will only be available after a fixture is created.
